IMPORTANT: February 14th SIS reports – 1701 audit purposes

February 14, 2024

To capture all data in reports that would assist you in the event of a 1701 audit, generate and retain February 14th reports from the Student Information System (SIS) for 1701 audit purposes.

Question: Why generate these reports again?

Answer: Your school staff may have made changes in the SIS after February 9th that are effective February 9th.

These are some of the suggested reports from the Ministry audit team:

  1. Attendance
  2. Course change logs
  3. 1701 verification reports and extracts
  4. DL/CE schools only:  DL Reconciliation Extract
  5. Admission and Withdrawal
  6. Class Lists
  7. Secondary Students (e.g. Cross-enrolled Students)
  8. Student Timetables
  9. Student Verification Form (address)
  10. Student Program Assignments

Save these reports in a secure network drive that your school office administrative staff can all find easily and access in the event of a 1701 audit.
